The fire incident that occurred around 00:30 on 31 August 2011at Bijilee house, Lh.Hinnavaru was put out through the combined efforts of Hinnavaru Police Station and the local islanders at around 01:15 that same night.
Investigations so far have indicated no casualties in the incident. However, the destruction of a large part of the house by the fire has caused considerable material damage.
The case is being further investigated by the Lh.Hinnavaru Police Station.
