SAARC Summit Internal Security (SSIS) Commander, Chief Inspector of Police Abdulla Phairoosch meets with the police officers deployed at the Division for the 17th SAARC Summit on 16 & 17 October 2011 in Gan and Fuvahmulah respectively.
Both meetings were attended by the Deputy Commander Chief Inspector of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman and South Police Division Commander Inspector of Police Yoonus Sobah as well as other commanders in the region involved in the event preparations for November.
Chief Inspector of Police Abdulla Phairoosch spoke earnestly to the staff of SSIS Command stressing on the importance of carrying out the arduous mission that lay ahead of them in the coming weeks, and encouraging the personnel to seek valor within their selves and to put forward their utmost commitment into all the tasks at hand.
The duties on the next couple of days for the SSIS Command staff were briefed by Logistics Support Commander, Sub Inspector of Police Ahmed Shakir.
