27 Apr
The National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE), held a certificate awarding ceremony today at the Iskandar Building Multipurpose Hall. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 52 officers who completed specialised training programs.
The ceremony recognised officers who graduated from two programs: the Certified Trainer Course (Batch 11) conducted by the Centre for Leadership and Management Studies, and the Electronic Evidence Training (Batch 1) delivered by the Centre for Investigation, Crime and Justice Studies.

Certificates were awarded by Chief Superintendent of Police Hassan Saeed and Chief Superintendent of Police Fathimath Nashwa, acknowledging the hard work, perseverance, and professional growth demonstrated by the graduates.
The Certified Trainer Course (Batch 11), conducted between February 23 and March 9, 2025, focused on developing instructional capabilities among officers, emphasising adult learning principles, learner-centred material development, effective communication, and the use of digital tools in training delivery. A total of 22 out of 25 enrolled officers successfully completed the course.

The Electronic Evidence Training (Batch 1), held from April 20 to 24, 2025, aimed to strengthen investigative skills in the management of electronic evidence. This training equipped officers with practical skills in digital forensics, cybersecurity, legal frameworks, and collaboration with forensic experts. All 30 officers enrolled in the program completed the course.
The event concluded with a group photograph of the graduates.
The National College of Policing and Law Enforcement continues to play a vital role in equipping officers with the specialised knowledge and skills required to meet the dynamic needs of policing in today’s world.
