Newly appointed Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen met with Chief of Defence Force Major General Ibrahim Hilmy this morning at the Maldives National Defence Force Headquarters.

The meeting served as an introductory engagement following Commissioner Ismail Naveen’s recent appointment.

They discussed ongoing efforts to maintain national security and the importance of continued cooperation between the Police and the MNDF. Both parties also explored ways to enhance joint efforts to ensure public safety and protect national interests.
