A team building activity was held on August 1st for participants of the 24th National Patrol Leaders Training Camp, organized by the Maldives Girl Guides Association at Hulhumalé Farukolhufinolhu.
The event was conducted in partnership with the Public Trust and Confidence Directorate and Specialist Operations of the Maldives Police Service. A total of 237 students took part in the activities, which were designed to build stronger relationships, boost self-confidence, and encourage teamwork.

Students were divided into four groups and took part in the programme in two shifts. The activities included a range of physical and team-based challenges that encouraged participants to face difficulties together and build trust within their teams. These exercises also aimed to help students believe in themselves and not give up even when things seem difficult.
As part of the programme, a self-defense class was held to teach students how to stay safe and respond in unexpected situations.
An awareness session was also conducted, where students were given important information about using social media safely, understanding the impact of bullying, and the importance of respecting others. The session also highlighted the need for every child to know their rights and take responsibility for their actions.
