
A series of ceremonies were held to present Medals and Ribbons to officers serving in the North Police and North Central Police in recognition of their dedicated service and contributions to the Maldives Police Service.
The ceremonies were held separately on 2 June 2026 within the respective regions, with Commissioner of Police Ahmed Mohamed presenting the Medals and Ribbons to the recipients.

The ceremony for officers of the North Police was held in B. Maalhos, while the ceremony for officers of the North Central Police took place in AA. Feridhoo.
A total of 33 officers from the North Police and 13 officers from the North Central Police received Medals and Ribbons during the ceremonies. The recipients included commissioned officers as well as other police officers who have demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and commitment in the discharge of their duties.

The Maldives Police Service Medals and Ribbons serve to recognise officers for their exemplary service, achievements, and valuable contributions to the institution. The awards reflect the Maldives Police Service’s continued commitment to acknowledging and honouring officers who uphold the highest standards of policing and public service.
