19 Oct 2013The Maldives Police Service urges individuals holding demonstrations in Male’, Hulhumale’ and other islands to be considerate towards the remaining members of the public during their protests.
Since impeding on the rights of others while attempting to exercise one’s own constitutional rights is not the most responsible course of action, the Maldives Police Service strongly urges all demonstrators to not conduct themselves in such a way.
